Samantha Ames, Dental Assistant

I have worked in the dental field for thirteen years, the last seven with Dr. Randy at Midcoast Family Dentistry. The midcoast region has been home, most of my life. I have always been fascinated with dentistry, especially extractions and surgeries, so working in a dental office seemed a natural fit for me. One of the best parts of my job is the continual change, each patient brings something special. Dentistry has come a long way and I am proud to be part of a fantastic team.

I hold my radiology license in the State of Maine. I recently attended a pain management course, allowing me to better understand and assist our migraine suffering patients. I like dental courses because techniques and technology are always changing. When I’m not working, I prefer being outdoors; camping, hiking, kayaking, and am currently learning to ski and having a lot of fun. I also love spending time with my daughter, family and friends. I look forward to meeting you at MidCoast Family Dentistry.

 Trisha Limeburner, Dental Assistant

I am somewhat new to the dental field, however, I’ve been interested in dentistry for many years. I have been privileged to be part of the MidCoast Family Dentistry team for two and a half years, and I couldn’t be happier. For most people the dental office is the last place they want to be. I am satisfied when I hear I assisted my patient in becoming more comfortable and relaxed, especially for a complicated procedure. I really enjoy a patient coming in for a root canal or an extraction with apprehension and pain because I know our team can help. I take great pleasure in alleviating my patient’s fears.

I recently completed certification for my Radiology License and am pleased to add that to my skill set. My spare time is spent with my husband of 12 years, our two daughters and friends. I have many passions; my favorites are gardening and being active.  Your comfort and wellbeing are my top priorities.
